My project is focused on evaluating the spatial heterogeneity of the geochemistry of brine pools in the Atacama Desert in Chile, one of the driest non-polar regions on Earth. One of my goals is to improve our understanding of the degree of environmental variability these systems exhibit. I recently graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree of Geoscience. Incidentally, I’m a crazy hamster lover!
